Hyundai Capital America raises $3.25B in bond sale amid post-war market rally

Hyundai Capital America has raised $3.25 billion through a global bond offering, benefiting from improved market conditions following the US-Iran peace agreement. The issuance was divided into four tranches: $400 million (2-year), $1.25 billion (3-year), $1 billion (5-year), and $600 million (7-year), with spreads of 55bp, 70bp, 83bp, and 93bp over US Treasury yields respectively. The spreads were tightened from initial guidance based on strong demand during bookbuilding. The financial subsidiary of Hyundai Motor Group, which provides leasing and instalment services to Hyundai and Kia's US operations, returned to market after two and a half months, having previously raised $2 billion in March. The company maintains an A-grade international credit rating from Moody's (A3) and S&P (A-).
